Long time fitness enthusiast, Carrie discovered Pilates while recovering from a back injury nearly ten years ago. Thrilled by the exceptional results of a healthier back and balanced mind and body, she became determined to teach. While completing her MA in French at Wayne State University, she sought out Body Pure's Instructor Training Program, recognized by the Pilates Method Alliance. Inspired by the strong foundation and incredible staff at Surge, Carrie is now also a trained instructor of the Pure Barre Technique, and finds that the combination of Pilates and Pure Barre is the BEST remedy for a healthy back, strong core and balanced body.
